Just want to let you know I'm not ignoring you.
This is a screen shot of my blog views for the past couple days.
Have any of you with blogs had this happen?
Perhaps I shouldn't worry, but I don't like it.
It's right at every 6 hours.
I've always thought those things were bogus anyway. I've had days that Blogger will show 2,000 hits, but Stat-Counter only show 200. I assume you're concerned that it's a hacker up to something, though, and I know NOTHING about what to do if THAT is the case.

DeleteHmm that's weird. I normally get a spike when I post something, so it's a weekly thing. It's pretty quiet otherwise.

That's how mine usually goes: the steadish ups and downs with a rise when I post. I don't usually get much spam (thankfully.)
DeleteCan you tell where the hits are being generated? It looks like a spambot is making its rounds. As long as your site is secure you should be fine.

DeleteSometimes something somewhere glitches. I had "200" views the other day in like one hour, but nothing like that since then. I have seen this a couple of times before. I am looking forward to seeing what other answers you get though.

ReplyDeleteStrange, this is pretty much how they've always appeared and have had blogspot all along. Maybe different versions if we began at different times. This is just a graph of the daily views and it shows by week. This is just way consistent and patterned. It's usually more like a mountain range.
DeleteMine have shown huge spikes on certain days..not sure what is going on.
